Royal Bayreuth of Bavaria Sugar Bowl ROB19 Orange Blossom China
Lovely little sugar bowl made by Royal Bayreuth of Bavaria in floral pattern ROB19. I am unsure about the date on this item. This is a common blank used for many years and decorated in many patterns. Hand painted, it has a green stamped makers mark. Decorated in an oriental style, flowers are orange and look like fruit tree blossoms. Gold has worn off the handles and rim, yet it appears unused except for the wear on the gold. Measures 6.25 inches from handle to handle, with lid it’s about 4.5 inches high. Outside diameter of rim is 3.5 inches. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
Beige Stoneware or Heavy China Tea Pot, Art Deco Look
Beige ceramic tea pot, no marking. 3.5 inches high, 8.5 inches from spout to handle, about 5 inches from front to back. Decorated with gold blocks alternating with turquoise and reddish transfer. No chips, no crazing, no cracks. Two tiny spots that were missed by the glaze. Probably an import. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
Pair of Matching Plates by Beyer and Bock, ca. 1930’s Back Stamp Burnished Gold Stars
Matching plates from a set made by Beyer and Bock. I do not know the pattern name or the exact date it was released. The Beyer and Bock mark dates from 1931-1990. Based on the design of the artwork, I would estimate they were made in the 1930’s – 1940’s. Larger plate looks like a salad or bread plate, measures 7.5 inches in diameter. The smaller plate is saucer sized at just less than 6 inches in diameter. Burnished gold, hand painted banners of stars flank either side of a pale, pink enamel flower and alternating fields of spring green. Edge is scalloped. Wear to design from center out on both plates, some chipping in the paint of the flowers and faded gold burnishing. Markings: Crown mark with crossed B’s, Volkstedt handgemalt.
