Accent Seasoning Glass Shaker Jar with Lid

Owens Illinois jar made for Accent. I recall the commercials for this seasoning, ‘Accent makes foods sing!’ Is it still made? This jar is in very good condition, the cap is fair condition, looks okay but has about 5 cracks starting at the bottom and radiating upwards. For now, it still screws on but I doubt it could take the stress of regular use. Based on the bottle markings this bottle was made during a year ending with ‘3’, my guess is either 1963 or 1973, at plant #9, located in Streator, Il. The X at the top of the logo indicates the container type or style. Transfers are in good shape. Great retro bottle for your collection. Shipping will be calculated at checkout.

Owens-Illinois Carnival Glass Beer Bottle 1954 Stamp, Date Code 69, Plant Code 9

Owens-Illinois Glass bottle, made with the 1954 mark (an I inside and O), the date and plant code. Date code is 69, plant is number 9 (which is in Steator, Illinois). There are two other marks, one at the top and one underneath that I don’t know the meaning of. Looks similar to the old Michelob bottles in the 70’s. Has golden, iridescent color, in good shape except for about 4 deep scratches on one side and a couple of tiny nicks on the shoulder. There is some haze inside the bottle, mostly on one side. Might be dirt, or it might be mineral deposits.
